Okay kids with the weird wintry weather nestled far back in our rear view, it’s time to talk outdoor markets.  This weekend highs will be in the 90′s- with lots of sunshine and fresh air.  So where to head??? Hmmm…. I maintain that a good outdoor market needs a variety of vendors for browsing and great people for watching.  I think Fiestas Market Square satisfies everything you need in an outdoor market, plus its prime location near the Riverwalk makes it a great jumping off spot for a full day of exploring in nearby San Antonio.

It’s a straight shot down the I-35 and boom! you’ve got kitsch, handmade gifts, food carts and fiesta fun all at your fingertips.

So get out this weekend, enjoy the warm weather and have wander around the Fiestas Market Square-the Texas Winter snow storms of 2011 practically demands it!
